Despite his recent explosion in success and popularity cutting up dance floors and festivals around the world as one half of the mighty Duck Sauce, Armand Van Helden’s career spans greater lengths than most fans might appreciate. Van Helden began spinning in Boston during the late 1980s and found his first mainstream success with hits like “The Funk Phenomena” and “Cha Cha” in the 1990s. Despite splitting time between his label Armed Records and touring heavily on his own and with partner in crime A-Trak as Duck Sauce, Van Helden has managed to create a heavy buzz for his dance floor hits and looks to continue his meteoric rise.
