Rob Myers, Steve Raskin and Sid Barcelona, better known as Thunderball, are Globally renowned purveyors of sophisticated, stereophonic-thrillers, and cinematic dub music. Since bursting onto the scene in 1997 their productions have shifted effortlessly between the genres of drum’n’bass, dub and downtempo, building a strong following for their signature sound. Thunderball’s 1999 debut, Ambassadors of Style, was greeted with critical acclaim from Rolling Stone magazine. Both 2001’s Scorpio Rising and 2006’s Cinescope saw the trio taking their sound in a variety of directions.
In 2010 Thunderball dropped their 4th album entitled 12 Mile High, which delivers 13 tracks of globe-spanning, mind-altering, cinematic music designed to bring you straight to the edge of the stratosphere. Coupled with amazing visuals, cuts from both albums old and new are certainly a something to be experienced live.
