Though Zedd (aka Anton Zaslayski) only started producing electronic club music in 2009, his entire life has revolved around music. Born into a family of musicians, Zedd began learning the piano at age 4. He would later move on to the drums and began composing and producing his own material. When he decided to switch to club music it took little time for him to achieve a remarkable level of success, winning two Beatport remix contests.
This quick success has led to Zedd producing several official remixes for artists such as Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, P. Diddy, Skrillex and Swedish House Mafia on labels including mau5trap, Interscope, Atlantic and EMI. His very own hit single “Dovregubben” held the #1 position on Beatport’s Electro House charts for four weeks.
